A TEN-YEAR COLLABORATION

FORMANI has built its worldwide reputation for distinctive architectural hardware on its close collaboration with internationally renown architects and interior designers. The now-iconic ONE collection was their first collaboration with Dutch superstar, Piet Boon.

Since then, Studio Piet Boon has developed four complete hardware systems for FORMANI. This lockset program has been built to offer you an efficient way to bring these designs into your entire project.

Lockset Program Components

The Levers

Piet Boon has designed four different levers to address the reality that doors come in different sizes. Whether it’s the main entrance or the broom closet, this allows you to provide an appropriately-scaled set for each door in your project. The petite PBL15 make

The four T-handles are available as dummy mounts only.

In the item code they show up as PBL or PBT.

The Trim Styles

ONE levers and T-knobs can be prepared for:

50mm Round Sprung Roses
Standard Escutcheon Plates
Security Escutcheon Plates

Exterior roses are through bolted with blind sex-bolts. Exterior escutcheons have welded studs to accept through-bolts, with no exposed fasteners.

ACCURATE 9800 SERIES

For all of our US Mortise locks we provide Accurate. They are the industry-recognized gold standard. The 9800 series Interior Mortise Lock has a Hub Assist feature that allows you to tune the lever to the horizontal easily, so your hardware always looks sharp, never droopy.

• Latch Bolt : 7/16" Throw. Brass. (or black delrin for satin black)

• Dead Bolt : 1/2" Throw.

US Commercial Mortise Locks

ACCURATE 9100 SERIES

For all of our US Mortise locks we provide Accurate. They are the industry-recognized gold standard.

• UL-Listed 3-Hour, Grade 1 Mortise Lock

• Backset : 2-1/2" standard. 2-3/4" backset by request.

• Latch Bolt : 3/4" Throw. Brass with steel insert.

• Dead Bolt : 1" Throw.

• Spacing : 2-7/16" (62mm) Lever-to-Turnpiece

• Spacing : 3-5/8" (92mm) Lever-to-Turnpiece

• Vertical Through-Bolting : 1-1/2”

• Upside-Down (Lever-High) option available

US Tubular Latch and Mortise Bolt

Baton Tubular Sets

• Only available for Levers on Roses.

• Backset : 2-3/8” standard. 2-3/4” available upon request.

• Field-reversible handing.

• Includes Baton's Power Pack to keep levers from sagging.

• US19 finish for Formani Satin Black, US32D for SSS and Satin White.

Dummy Mounts

FORMANI Full and Half Dummy Mounts

• Surface-mounted 3mm plates mortised flush to door surface

• Full Dummy provided with spindle per door thickness.

Magnetic Catches

Precision Adjustable Magnetic Catches

We often specify these along with dummy mounts for closet situation where a hard latch is not required. The quiet but strong solution of these Precision catches does the trick. When you specify the Dummy Mounts, choose the option for with Magnetic Catch to add to your set.

The Functions

We’ve tried to offer the most common functions on both roses and escutcheons. If you don’t find the specific set your project requires, please call us to discuss, but you should be all set for most situations.

The Finishes

Featured

Satin Stainless Steel

This is a sumptuous satin finish. Silky smooth but not without some light-catching grain.

Satin Black

This matte powder-coated finish is a very smooth RAL 9004 neutral black.

Satin White

This is a neutral powder-coated white (RAL 9003) with a satin finish. Matches our Tectus hinges and Halliday+Baillie white finishes perfectly.

Bronze (custom orders only)

This finish is a metallic bronze powder-coat, providing a rich brown with a slight sparkle. This finish is not part of the standard program. Call us if you are interested.

PVD Black (COMING SOON)

How It All Works
